An iPhone icon stays in the user's mind as their mental shortcut to your application, so you want something memorable and distinct, something that makes sense for the functionality but also stands out. Kim helped develop multiple concepts for the Road Tip icon, found suitable photography, and reworked it with filters to give it a better gloss than Apple's factory-issued "bubble". Kim also quickly turned around a higher-resolution version when Apple surprised everyone with the iPhone 4 and its need for Retina-display-friendly "@2x" icons.
